The meeting called to assess the need for a meeting about the project's progress ended without a decision on Thursday afternoon, after fifty minutes of discussion about the duration, format, and guest list of the gathering that might be scheduled.
"It was productive," assessed one of the participants. "We managed to map the risks of holding too large a meeting and the risks of holding no meeting at all. We just did not close on which of the two risks is worse."
The gathering ended with the creation of a collaborative document to record the options discussed and, according to the minutes, "with a commitment to revisit the matter in a leaner conversation, ideally among three to five people."
Contacted, the project leadership said the schedule remains "fully on track," and that the next meeting on the topic is already booked for the following week, with the agenda to be defined.
According to the reporting, the project's original agenda has remained open on a task board, in the "in progress" column, since the 12th.
Satire. The characters are invented; the structure, unfortunately, is not.
