Hash Notary
Change one letter, recompute, and watch the stamp change — no miracle and no server in the middle.
local demo · SHA-256 · no wallet and no blockchain
The computation happens in this browser; the site neither sends nor stores the text.
the serious part
Integrity is not identity
SHA-256 turns bytes into a 256-bit fingerprint (64 hexadecimal characters). The same text, encoded the same way, repeats the result; different texts can, in theory, collide.
A hash can help compare whether two contents are equal. On its own, it doesn’t prove who wrote it, whether it’s true, when it existed, or any legal validity. It’s neither reversible encryption nor a signature.
This step is local only: it creates no transaction, touches no wallet, and uses no SOL. Don’t publish personal data — even a hash can reveal a predictable text by trial and error.
